Concept

You play as a word wizard in a papercraft world. You can take letters from one word and place them into another, changing its properties. Be careful, though: you can only remove or add a letter if the result is still a real word.
For example: Chair → Hair, Lock → Clock, but not Chair → Cair.

Your goal is to obtain the item needed for a costume party in town.
(And you should go to town with that preparation.)

Solutions (Word for each objective if you're stuck) :

- A mean of transportation Bus
- A bag to put my things in Sack
- An old timey nice dress Frock
- An iced drink Tea
- Some shoes worthy of a princess Heel
- Someone to drive me Driver
- Something to hold the meat for the party barbecue Skewer
- Something to get wasted Booze
- Some money to pay him Cash
- Something to make toasts Bread

Mini Devlog

I am still a beginner, but this is the most accomplished project I have made so far. I wanted to add more item interactions and more complex puzzles, but I did not really have enough time to do everything.

Thank you very much for playing my game ❤️!

Hey, this game has a great potential. I really liked the overall atmosphere, including the art concept and music. The word using mechanism is very creative, and gives me something to think about! The only issue I faced was the User Experience, in terms of "What letters can I possess" or "What letters am I holding now?" and others. I really think this could go somewhere! Looking forward on your game dev journey! Keep it up!

Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoyed it ! I think an hud always visible would help with the user experience, I plan on adding it once the jam rating phase ends.

Cool game! Loved the chill atmosphere and very clever

Thank you very much !
